The Art of Transforming Grief
Grief is emotionally draining, physically disorienting—and exhausting. While it is not as complicated as we make it, it is also not as simple as we would like.
Currently, you may be experiencing any one or all of the following:
- You pretend you are fine, while thinking you may never be again;
- You are preoccupied with anxiety, anger, guilt and are often flooded with emotion;
- Your physical health has suffered;
- Family and friends are there for you, but their kind words don’t help;
- Your fresh grief has stimulated a previous unresolved loss.
Whatever your loss, your grief is personal to you and it needs expression. No matter how difficult the situation is, I will encourage you to stop trying to get rid of, hide or change what is happening for you.
I have 30 years of experience and know that with my support you can regain your balance and begin to ask and answer two important healthy questions: “How am I going to live without my loved one?” and “What lies ahead for me?”
Most importantly, by working together you will learn to live fully, again.
I know from personal and professional experience that grief is the most available, untapped, emotional resource we have for personal transformation.
